1) ENTRIES: *Opening day entry fees are for a complete entry postmarked on opening date. Incomplete entries will be charged the higher entry fee. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Note: USEA and USEF fees should be added to your entry fee according to your division, per the itemized “Fees Enclosed” section of the Entry Form. All BN competitors who are not USEA members must also pay additional $25 non-member fee with entry. Entry fees sent in via U.S. Mail for on-line registrations must be postmarked on opening day to receive the opening day discount.
Please use the 2010 horse trials entry forms. Entry forms must be completed in full. Please state birth date on entry form. Be sure to state Division entered & all 3 signatures on back of entry must be originals. Preliminary entries must also include a copy of USEF membership for rider and owner. Copy of current negative Coggins within 12 months must accompany entry. Out of state entries must show current Health Certificate at event registration. All attachments, entry check(s) and deposit check(s) must be included with entry. Failure to do so could result in denial of the entry. Refunds/Changes: Scratches must be received in writing by closing date to receive refund, less $25 non-refundable office fee. After closing date, no Entry/Stabling refund. Any changes after closing date incur a $30 change fee. Competition cancellation- No refund. Management reserves right to combine, split or cancel classes, cancel or add judges as entries warrant, & refuse any entry.
2) TENTATIVE TIME SCHEDULE:
- Fri: Show office open for registration – 3 pm; Cross-country course open - 3 pm
- Sat: Dressage (all divisions) - 8 am; Cross-country - 11 am; Competitors party - 5 pm
- Sun: Show Jumping - 9 am
3) AWARDS : Prizes & Ribbons for all divisions.
4) STARTING TIMES: Ride times will be sent via email and also posted on NCHT website (www.nchtonline.com ).
5) STABLING/VETERINARIAN: 40 covered stalls on grounds - $100 for duration, initial bedding included; 12’ x 12’ pens - $30/night. Please include stabling form and separate $40 check for stall stripping deposit.
Veterinarian: Number will be posted on grounds in stabling area & by Secretary’s office.
6) ACCOMMODATIONS: Numerous Motels located on Hwy 34, 5-7 miles east of Tomora:

7) DIRECTIONS:
- Address: Tomora Training Center, 11000 Hwy 34 Bypass, Greeley, CO 80634
- From I-25, take exit #257A onto Hwy 34 bypass, and go east towards Greeley. Approx. 7.5 mi. to Tomora Training Center on right (south) side of 34 Bypass.
8) DRESSAGE: Test & arena sizes:
- P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm.
- T-2010 USEF Training Test B-Sm.
- N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm.
- OBN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.
- BNH/BNR-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm.
- Arenas: Small configuration for all divisions; sand footing.
9) CROSS‑COUNTRY:
- Approximate course specifications:
- P-2800 m @ 520 mpm.;
- T-2400 m @ 450 mpm;
- N-2000 m @ 400 mpm;
- OBN‑1600 m @ 350 mpm/max height 2’7”;
- BNH/BNR-1600m @300 mpm/max height 2’3”.
- Excellent footing on gently rolling prairie with ditches, banks & water crossing at all levels. Excellent footing in warm-up for all phases. All cross-country courses are solidly built with some “maximum” fences at all levels.
- P-average difficulty suitable for moving up.
- Courses for T, N, OBN will be above average difficulty, suitable to late season event.
- BNH/R-great starter courses.
10) OTHER INFORMATION:
- Cross-country course closes Aug 7.
- Food concessionaire on grounds.
- Competitors Party, Saturday PM; competitors are free; $10 per guest.
- Loose dogs are subject to $50 fine.
